Natural Grass Fields

After a full season, grass fields often look sad with bear patches & holes, especially in high traffic areas. Whilst immediate work needs to be done with patching, a full strategy is needed to ensure a better outcome next season. 

Drainage & irrigation need attention, installation of synthetic grass underlay in high traffic areas, top dressing, aeration & weed control are all things to consider. Fertilising plus over sowing in advance of the new season can really assist to boost the quality of the new season playing surface.

Synthetic Grass Courts and Fields

Synthetic grass courts and fields need regular maintenance to ensure the pile remains upright so the playing surface offers consistent adhesion and bounce. 

This entails removing debris, moss and vegetation, cleaning, scarifying / de-compaction of the surface, replacing sand or rubber crumb, antifungal treatment and updating lines if required. Repairs to tears & separation of seams is essential.

Lines can fade over time from UV, plus get worn in areas of high traffic so need recoating. We also can assist with additional multi-sports lines.

Hard Courts

Hard courts come in a variety of construction materials such as concrete, bitumen or clay. Concrete & Bitumen surfaces are usually coated with brand specific paints that have specific cleaning requirements. 

We know how to achieve the best results without causing damage. This might entail pressure washing, mechanical brushing or chemical treatment depending on the surface type. Surfaces may also suffer damage or cracking & depending on condition may require repairs, resurfacing or new lines.

Indoor Courts

Indoor courts are typically constructed using a polished timber. This is usually coated in polyurethane which provides a durable playing surface. However, with consistent use and regular cleaning, the surface wears thin requiring maintenance.

 Additionally, damage may result from abuse, eg dragging of chairs and furniture or use of incorrect footwear. Restoration entails sanding back the surface to an even finish and recoating, then installation of new permanent lines or with synthetic tape.
